iGRADS is a virtual research communication competition open to all graduate students—whether in-person, online, or hybrid. This competition provides an opportunity to showcase your research concisely and effectively in an engaging format using layman’s terms. Open to all in-person, online, and hybrid graduate students!
Effective scientific communication is a vital skill for graduate students, allowing them to share their research with the academic community, industry professionals, and the public. Strong communication skills not only foster professional growth but are also highly valued by employers, who seek individuals capable of translating complex scientific concepts into meaningful knowledge that benefits society.
The competition consists of two rounds:

📅 Submission Deadline: February 28, 2025
🎥 Video Length: 3-minute recorded video
○ Look into the camera and explain your research.
○ No slides, images, text, graphics, posters, walking around, or additional footage.
○ The recording must be in English.
○ The top two students from each college will advance to the finals.

Preliminary Round: Awards are given to the top two winners from each college.
Final Competition:
○ Winner - $3000 cash prize
○ Runner Up 1 - $2000 cash prize
○ Runner Up 2 - $1000 cash prize
